Yard Waste Pickup Policy
Residents are responsible for the disposal of non-biodegradable items. This policy DOES NOT affect the regular household garbage pickup service. The listed items (trash/ yard waste) will be picked up by the City:
- Tree Trunks which are no longer than three (3) feet in length.
- Tree limbs which are no longer than six (6) feet in length.
- Leaves and grass clippings in biodegradable bags.
- Leaf vacuuming from November through March: Resolution Number 3186 adopted March 24, 1998 provides for vacuuming of leaves and debris for the elderly citizens or those in poor health.
Items or debris generated by a contractor or generated by residents doing similar work will not be picked up by the City.
